He might be able to go home, to his family. 11 - Many ex-convicts re-offend within a year of their release and get back to prison. 12 - The guard reported his concerns about the nervousness prisoners to the warden . 13 - They put him in solitary for his own protection and to give him time to calm down. 14 - The guards had a clear view of the prison entrance from the watchtower . 15 - Prisoners are granted some recreation time in the prison yard . 16 - Police took the suspect into custody immediately. They can keep him for 48 hours at the police station. 17 - Prisoners do not have proper beds, they sleep on bunks , two or three in the same cell, one on top of the other.
